The intention of the main poster was to illustrate the conflict that main character Jesse Eisenberg has to live through in the midst of the turmoil of World War II, on the one hand as an artist and on the other hand in the fight for survival.

The title treatment organically came out all the outdoor neon signs that appear in and around Berlin Alexanderplatz. This was build around many different images to get the fractured nature across of the main characters' relationships while keeping true to the integrity of the film and the atmosphere of the setting. We used desaturated images to represent the tone of the film and the reflections to show that the players were on an emotional and gritty journey.

A lively animated adventure, so playful and colorful that there was no question about the direction the poster design should take to pick up children and their parents and guarantee family entertainment at its best.
